Recently, strange contents have been appearing in messages sent by friends. It turns out that this is a malicious "worm" that, when downloaded and opened, runs a dangerous script that redirects you to a subsequent page that encourages you to download the plug-in. When you do this, all of your accounts (bank, social media) will be open to the malware creators, and data from your computer or other devices you use may be encrypted. I don’t think I need to explain what this involves. Text message scam. Another behavior currently rampant on the Internet is group messaging asking for “free” text messages to be sent to that number. .I was targeted last night myself.
